New Home Snagging Survey

What is a New Home Snagging Survey?

A new build snagging survey is a non-intrusive comprehensive inspection that identifies defects, omissions and poor workmanship in a newly constructed property. These issues, known as ‘snags’, can range from minor cosmetic flaws to significant structural problems. A professional snagging report provides a detailed list for the developer to rectify before the property is handed over.

The survey includes the following:
• A comprehensive evaluation of the entire property.
• Images and detailed descriptions of all defects. • Reference to relevant building regulations and warranty standards.
• The option for thermal imaging to detect hidden issues such as leaks or insulation problems.
• A clear, easy-to-read report that can be presented to the developer.
• Support to help you communicate effectively with your builder.
